Is there any way to put pictures up on a wall without using nails/sticky tack/tape?

I'm moving to a different room in our house and I was planning on putting a million things up on my walls, but my mom won't let me use over like 20 nails/thumb tacks because ';they leave too many holes!'; or sitcky tack/tape because it apparently leaves residue. Is there anyway to put something up on a wall without having it leave something behind?!Is there any way to put pictures up on a wall without using nails/sticky tack/tape?
my mom was the same. so i used blue tack. it was pretty good. its just when your taking everything down. you have to take the little bits of blue tack off the wall by using more blue tack to collect the pieces. if that made sense.

its kinda hard to explain. hahaIs there any way to put pictures up on a wall without using nails/sticky tack/tape?
Create a collage using cardboard and your pictures. Simply choose a large piece of craft cardboard then stick your pictures onto the cardboard to create a collage. You get to see all your pics and you only have to stick one large sheet to the wall instead of dozens of little ones. You can then just use blue tack to adhere the cardboard to the wall.

Another tip: If you are using tacks or nails, when you remove them later on, to cover the hole simply use a piece of white chalk and rub it over the hole - the chalk fills the hole and it is barely noticeable. Maybe try this once to show your mum how it covers the holes up and she might be more lenient and allow you to use more nails etc.
ask about going to an appliance store and see if they have any big pieces of cardboard you can have (refrigerator or big screen TV box?), leave at least a 2 foot distance above and one foot on each side from any electrical switch, outlet or appliance that would pose a fire hazard if one of them decides to short out, it happens. Call your local fire department to be on the safe side.

use nails and a stud finder to hang the cardboard, and if the items aren't too heavy use tape or wire hooks maybe through the cardboard. when removing the nails put a piece of wood behind the hammer to not damage the drywall. fill the hole's with a little bit of spackling compound or plaster.
