Ew, ugly short nails = desperate help! (picture)?

i am trying my hardest to stop biting my nails, so i painted them so that maybe it would stop me from biting them. aren't they just hideous? and how can i make them grow longer? thanks a ton!

Try finding another thing to focus on when you want to bite them,


and go to the nail salon and get a manicure with a color of your choice or french manicure, they'll take off your polish and fix your cuticles. One MAJOR thing not to do, DON'T get fake nails put on. My mom had them done alot when she was young and now her nails are weak and break and bend and not as healthy looking as they were before. French manicures and regular manicures still look awesome but won't damage them.

I have noticed that a lot of people I know that bite their nails have tried everything. From putting chile on their nails to painting them with nasty flavored things and they just dont work. I would recommend you to chew on other things like gum or even put a plastic button inside your mouth just to distract your from your beautiful naiils. I know for a fact that nails and hair grow faster in humid places so if you want your nails to grow faster keep your hands a little wet. Good luck
they dont look nasty they are just to short and u did a good job at polishing them


i heard that if u buy a clear nailpolish and put in tiny pieces of garlic in it and leave it like that for 2 dys and then polish ur nails with it will help ur nails grow just try hard not to bite them oh and it has to be ur only polish on do dont put any color polish just the clear one
there not so bad!! just let em grow a little by painting them. No one wants to eat nail polish..am i right? This is what i did. Instead of biting my nails i peeled my toes. not bite i always used to peel the long part of my nail right off..then i ignored them and now they r long..but now i hav to worry about the white dots on them..lol
whatever you do dont use fake nails they will grow out really thin and then youll just breaak them again there is this stuff called orly no bite you but it on like nail polish then if you bite your nails it tastes really bad then eventually it will stop you frombiting them hope this helps!

at home you can try using nail growth serum , works great and its cheap only 4$ ..or sumthing
there is some special nail polish for nail bitters, it tastes reaaally bad so when you go to bite it will not be worth bitting your nails! and theres also fast growth nail polish too! you can probably find it at wal-mart or some other place like that
I think they look cute. In a month they will grow longer. Be paitent. What helps nail-biters is putting on this burt's bee cuticle cream that tastes disgusting, so you will stop biting them.
try gettin fake nails itll give em a chance 2 grow 4 a lil bit
you just gotta find another, healthier thing use as a nervous habit
